Dr Sonia Binte Murshed joined the institute on June 30, 2009 as a Lecturer and became an Assistant Professor on October 10, 2012. Her research interest is on Integrated Water Resources Management, Hydro-climatology, Hydro-morphology, and Water Conflict Management. One of her co-authored article titled as “Changes of rainfall extremes around the haor basin areas of Bangladesh using multi-member ensemble RCM” (published on Theoretical and Applied Climatology, Springer) has been cited 55 times since 2014.
